Role Description
Klein Thomas Lee & Fresard is seeking a full-time

Litigation Paralegal
to join our Phoenix, Arizona office. The paralegal will play a key role in supporting our attorneys through all phases of litigation, including case management, discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial matters. Responsibilities include drafting and filing legal documents, organizing case files, managing discovery, summarizing pleadings and medical records, preparing deposition and trial materials, monitoring deadlines, and ensuring compliance with court rules and filing requirements.

The firm is open to flexible work arrangements. A five-day in-office schedule is not required, and many of our paralegals work on a hybrid basis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program
  • Minimum 3 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in a private law firm setting
  • Experience handling complex litigation, including medical, technical, and commercial matters, is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court rules, and litigation procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote)
  • Experience preparing legal documents and managing discovery
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with e-discovery platforms (e.g., Relativity) is a plus
  • Knowledge of legal AI tools (e.g., document review, drafting assistance, medical record summaries) is a plus
  • Experience with electronic court filings in both state and federal courts
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments for multiple attorneys
  • Self-starter who works well both independently and as part of a team
