Dave Auther is a 35-year trial lawyer who specializes in the defense of corporations in alleged design and manufacturing defect cases. He has also represented builders in alleged negligent construction practices and building techniques. Dave has appeared in courts around the country with primary participation in Arizona and Nevada where he is bar licensed.

Dave cut his teeth on the early ATV and personal watercraft litigation where he travelled around the country to bring local counsel up to speed on the defense of those products. This activity gave Dave a keen understanding of the importance of presenting a very technical case in a way that a non-technical jury can understand. Dave works well with defense experts to make sure that the defense is well researched as well as logically presented to the jury. That is the only way to win over a jury that will likely feel sympathy for the injured plaintiff.

Dave practiced for many years with several of the partners in the firm and has now returned to litigation work after spending the last several years as in-house counsel in an Arizona firm. Dave graduated from the University of Washington and then from Arizona State University School of Law. Dave is a native of Phoenix and enjoys all the outdoor activities that the Southwest provides.
