Steven S. Hoffmann works on litigation matters at the St. Louis office of Klein Thomas Lee & Fresard. He is an associate attorney in the class action practice group, where he focuses on civil discovery.
Steven holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Washington University in St. Louis, and a juris doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law. He began his legal career as a law clerk for the American Civil Liberties Union of Missouri, and then for the Federal Public Defender for the Eastern District of Missouri. As an attorney, Steven previously worked for Newton Barth, LLP, where he handled plaintiff-side employment and civil rights matters and represented criminal defendants in state and federal court.
Steven is an experienced legal researcher and writer, and he has also made hundreds of court appearances on behalf of his clients. Steven was selected to the 2024 Missouri Rising Stars civil litigation list by Super Lawyers, a part of Thomson Reuters.
